Friday Night Criterium canceled tonight. Sorry. :(

Due to the uncertain and unpredictable weather today(currently raining in Chico), tonight's Friday Night Chico Airport Criterium has been canceled. I am sorry. In addition, the R.A.C.E.mobile is in a coma. I am so sorry for all of this mayhem with the weather, the R.A.C.E.mobile and the canceled events - hate to have to cancel. However, I know that the rest of this season is going to be AWESOME!!! Please hang in there.

Tomorrow's Lunt Road Uphill Time Trial is still ON though - Rain or Shine. I have a ride to get there, so will see you out there....hopefully!!

Saturday, March 26th - The Lunt Road Uphill Time Trial - 9:00AM

This one will be held rain or shine(snow & ice will postpone it though), and is a Category 3 climb in this Series. Registration will open at 8:30am, with the 1st rider taking off at 9:01am - and we will go in 1-minute intervals. The Lunt Road Uphill Time Trial course starts at Coal Canyon Road at Hwy. 70 - directly across the street from Wheelock Road. It climbs up Hwy. 70 - all the way to Lunt Road(the Lunt Road on the RIGHT - NOT on the left!). Make the right turn on to Lunt Road(will be marked with Route Arrows), and finish at the top of the short(but steep) Lunt Road climb. Look for me and the R.A.C.E.mobile at the start location at Coal Canyon Road & Hwy. 70. The Lunt Road Uphill Time Trial course is approximately 8.1 miles in length, climbs approximately 2,100 feet, and is considered a Category 3 Climb in the Series.
