Hi Everyone!! Just wanted to let you know that the Lake Oroville Bicyclists Organization(LOBO) is putting on the 24-Hours of Gold Mountain Bike Race again this year! This year's event is looking to be AWESOME!! For more information, please visit their website at:
Additional info:

The Lake Oroville 24-HOURS of GOLD - The mother lode of 24-hour mountain bike racing.

We offer exquisite trails surrounding a state-of-the-art campground.

The 7.5 mile singletrack course twists and turns, climbs and drops through oaks and chaparral.

The Loafer Creek Group Camps are six secluded sites; each site has room for 25 persons (teams will share sites) with tent sites, BBQ grills, sink and counter. Some/limited RV parking available.

The campground contains two separate restroom facilities with showers (Pay per use).

Entry fee includes camping both Friday and Saturday nights.

Pre-riding the course allowed after 2:00pm Friday afternoon.

Race time is 10:00AM Saturday to 10:00AM Sunday

To avoid overcrowding and keep it fun, we are limiting the event to only 150 riders.

Registration is allowed up to the day of the event, Nov. 13, provided we do not fill up before then.

Some same day registration will be allowed depending on pre-registered numbers.

Each rider is asked to display a red light rearward after dark.
