Things I learned yesterday.....

....during Chico Velo's annual Rice Valley Tandem Rally:

1. My new-old Benotto Cello Tape in the color blue was a hit - although, there is absolutely no padding to it at all, so you feel pretty much everything through your hands.
2. Out on the open plains, it's windy.
3. Daniel has his riding legs back - too bad he's leaving for Hawaii this morning for a week.....but hey, he'll get to work on his tan.
4. Don't fill your Hammergel flask all the way to the top - when you go to open it, it'll spill all over your top tube, leading your riding partners to believe you've been.....uh.....overexcited while drafting the girl in front of you.
5. Mike Peavy is fast on a tandem!
6. Shaved legs in February is crazy.
7. And finally, what better way to spend a Sunday than riding with your friends - thanks guys.....that was truly awesome!
