Tuesday, March 23rd - Chico Airport Criterium - 6:00PM(As & Bs) & 7:00PM(Cs and Kids Races) - This event will be held at the Chico Airport Criterium course starting at 6:00pm(for As & Bs) and 7:00pm(for Category C and Kids race)! Registration will open at 5:40pm on Convair avenue at the Airport - with the first event starting promptly at 6:00pm. We'll be using our standard Tuesday Night Chico Airport Criterium course starting/finishing at Convair Avenue - http://www.bikely.com/maps/bike-path/Chico-Airport-Tuesday-Night-Crit-Course . Category "A" riders will go for 50 Minutes PLUS 3 laps, while Category "B" riders will go for 45 Minutes PLUS 3 laps - Women's Category picked separately. The Category C and Kids Only Race will go for 20 Minutes PLUS 3 laps. Riders must sign in and wear a helmet in order to compete. RAIN OR WET PAVEMENT WILL CANCEL THIS EVENT. Wednesday, March 24th - FAST 50 - 6:00PM - The long-running independent "Fast 50" Wednesday night rides! The starting spot for this ride is in the parking lot of Rosedale Elementary School located at 100 Oak Street here in Chico. The ride leaves promptly at 6:00pm from the parking lot area. Many different levels of cyclists out there, so hook up with someone and enjoy the ride! Thursday, March 25th - Aguas Frias 10-Mile Time Trial - 6:00PM - Registration opens at 5:45pm, with the first rider going off at 6:01pm. We will go in 1-minute intervals for this 5-miles out, 5-miles back, all-flat Time Trial. Come on out after work and give this one a shot! A map of this course can be found here - http://www.bikely.com/maps/bike-path/Aguas-Frias-10-Mile-Time-Trial The Start/Finish location of this event is on Aguas Frias Road - just south of Dayton 4-Corners - by the Stop Ahead Sign......look for me at the Start Area with a clipboard. This is also the course used in Chico Corsa's upcoming Stage Race on April 17th & 18th - for more information on the stage race or to volunteer, please visit www.ChicoCorsa.com! Saturday, March 27th - The Lunt Road Uphill Time Trial - 9:00AM - This is considered to be a Category 1 climb in the Butte Hill Climb Time Trial Series, approximately 5.1 miles length and about 1,900 feet of total climbing. The Time Trial will start where Hwy. 70 and Cherokee Road intersect - and go all the way up to the top of Lunt Road......warning - the kicker climb on Lunt Road at the end has a bit of a bite to it!! Remember - you can always come out to any or all of the Time Trials - just go your own pace, do your own thing - just you against the clock, no big whoop - and it's FREE! We have a wide variety of riders out there - ALL are welcome to come out and give it a shot!! AND - if you don't want your time recorded in the Official Results, it's okay - just let me know at the Start when you sign in. Sunday, March 28th - Chico Velo's Tour of the Unknown Valley North - 7:00AM to 9:00AM Start Time - For more information, please visit www.ChicoVelo.org and http://www.chicovelo.org/main/index.php/century-series/28-unknownvalleynorth. You can register now at Active.com or register the day of the ride. Registration & start between 7am - 9am at the Glenn County Fairgrounds in Orland, California. Take I-5 to Orland and exit at Hwy 32. Head east towards Chico, turning south on Woodward Ave to the Glenn County Fairgrounds. Three food and drink stops on the course, plus dinner at the finish in the best of Chico Velo traditions. This new addition to the Chico Velo Century Series has been enjoyed by local riders for years. There is one 75+ mile loop offered. The route goes south from Orland to Willows on flat country roads, then heads west to Elk Creek. There’s one three mile climb before coming into Elk Creek. The route then turns north along Stony Creek, Grindstone Creek coming out of the Yolla Bollys, to Chrome, Burrows Gap and then into Newville. Turning east, the course rolls past Black Butte Lake and into Orland for the finish dinner at the Glenn County Fairgrounds. Helmets are REQUIRED!

One Note - We did a course check on this route last week and I can't tell you how beautiful it is out there this time of year - it is AMAZING!!!!! :)
