Woke up this morning with the smell of Autumn in the air. It's funky - the change in sun position, the tad bit cooler air, the scent......just the feel of it all. And it has to be one of my favorite times of the year for riding - just incredible. It always brings back good memories of great rides of years past - the weather, the friends, the roads, the leaves - great times.

I need tires though. Mine are seriously trashed - shouldn't even be riding on them, but still am. Bad, bad, bad....I know. And I'm just asking for trouble. I've got a pile of old beat up tires here in the office that I use on the indoor trainer - I ride them until they almost shred. And at this point, that pile is starting to look attractive to put on the road bike for road miles! Yes, I've reached the desperation point in my want of a tire.

Okay, enough rambling - I need more coffee. And I should probably test my bloodsugar.
