Here's Gianni!!

So, our teammate Johnny C. came to town this weekend so his wife could compete in this little race we have here . The only problem was, the weather wasn't cooperating for our ride today - high winds and rain make for misery sometimes. So, I bagged it - even though our teammate Paul was gonna go do hill intervals regardless of the weather.......way to old-school-it Paul!! Shoulda had our cyclocross bikes for today's weather. Did you guys actually do the hill intervals this morning???

In any case......Johnny. Okay, this dude is one guy who I have to say, I am very very glad to have on our team. After talking with him last night over our Bob Roll diets at the Bear (nice site Kareem! We need a pic on the front page though), it became obvious to me that John gets "it". That "it" being the magic involved in riding and racing. His enthusiasm for racing, riding, tactics and the fearlessness he has with racing with the big guns is.....what else.....inspiring. And he is a guy I hope to have the privilege to ride & race with in the months and years to come.

I'm tellin' ya, the team just rocks - and it's only early March! Looking forward to racing with Daniel and Johnny C. in a bit - should be a fun one.....as long as it doesn't rain.
