XC Race at 8:00 am mass- start!

Think you’re up for Northern California’s most technical cross country course? The Bidwell Bump is a punishing course that will leave you humbled!
Pro/Expert Course:
The race will start below the cross, in the parking lot of the North Rim Trail. The race starts with a 4 mile climb up North Rim to the start of B-trail. B-trail is a technical 1.5 mile rocky-switchback descent that goes down the canyon to the park road. Go left at the park road and proceed for 1 mile till the road ends. At this point take the single track to the creek crossing and climb up to 10 Mile-House Road. Take a right on the fire road. 10 Mile-House Road is a short but grueling 900ft climb. Near the top, take a right at Guardians Trail. Descend down Guardian Trail for approximately 1.5 miles to the Bloody Pin trail entrance. This is the trail that defines Bidwell Park, rocky and technical! Take Bloody Pin trail till if T’s into South Rim and take a left. Make your way down South Rim till you reach the notorious hike-a-bike section, “tennis-ball hill.” Half a mile after “tennis-ball hill” there will be a “Y” in the trail, verve left and be prepared for the last technical descent to the finish. The finish is located in the open area south of the golf course.
