Isn't it amazing how........

.......a $200 to $300 toy can make you feel like a kid again??? This is a 1x7 1988 Stumpjumper my brother built up. He let me take it out to Annadel State Park in Santa Rosa for a spin one day off-road. I have to say, that was one of the coolest days ever on a bicycle. Nothing fancy - just me, the bike, the park and the sunshine(okay, so yeah, some of that stuff is fancy). I definitely felt like a kid again zooming around the trails, just having a good old time. No structure, no plans, had the day off from work.......just wanted to go out and ride for a bit. It was one of those days that reaffirms why you love cycling so much.

Hmmmm. Wonder if my boss would be mad if I called in sick today..........
